Celeste Bishop Stein, MSJ, PhD
Celeste Bishop Stein, M.S.J., Ph.D., is the founder, president and CEO of Bishop, Stein & Associates Public Relations, Inc., located in the greater Nashville, Tennessee area. Dr. Stein started the company in March of 2000 because of her passion to help local businesses and non-profit organizations build their brand and enhance their reputation through strategic communication.
Prior to founding Bishop, Stein & Associates P.R., Inc., Dr. Stein worked as a news anchor and reporter in radio and television for 18 years in Washington, DC, Atlanta, GA, Chicago, IL, Lynchburg, VA, and Nashville, TN.
Dr. Stein also worked as the Manager of Public Affairs for the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority, supervising a small staff which implemented the airport’s strategic communications plan. She is a new media scholar and has received numerous awards for some of the corporate branding and identity campaigns she’s worked on over the years. Dr. Stein currently serves on the Board of Directors of Play Like a Girl, which focuses on getting young girls interested in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).

Dr. Stein graduated from Spelman College, in Atlanta, GA, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree. She has a Master of Science Degree in journalism from Northwestern University in Chicago, IL. In 2019, Dr. Stein received a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in strategic communications from Regent University. As part of her graduate program, she traveled to Europe to study the work of C.S. Lewis on the campus in Oxford, England. Dr. Stein is always seeking to improve and succeed at everything she does. She wholeheartedly puts that passion and effort into everything she does, including having a strong team to focus on your business.
