Biography

Elise Stein is a recent Middle Tennessee State University graduate, finishing her bachelor’s degree early in 2019 where she majored in Journalism, Advertising-Public Relations (R.I.M.) with a minor in marketing at Middle Tennessee State University. In her time at MTSU, Stein was on the Dean’s and Honors List and was the recipient of the 2018 and 2019 Savannah Rae Schmidt Scholarship, highlighting her achievements in public relations. In 2015, Stein was a nominee for the Governor’s Volunteer Stars Award appointed by Wilson County Mayor Randall Huttoin due to her efforts to combat bullying.

 

As Miss Chattanooga 2020, she focuses on her anti-bullying platform Move to Stand, where she travels to schools in the state of Tennessee helping students to embrace their differences and inform them about bullying through character education. Stein was named the Nashville brand ambassador for the International Bullying Prevention Association in 2017.

 

No stranger to pageants, Elise has competed in many pageants including the Miss Tennessee Teen USA 2015 and 2016 pageant, placing in the top five in both, the Miss Tennessee Pageant and the Miss Tennessee Volunteer Pageant where she also placed in the top five. Elise has held serval titles. Due to her pageantry and her anti-bullying efforts, she has been featured on People Magazine, E! News, Nashville’s News Channel 5, The Tennessean and multiple local newspapers.

 

Stein also models for The Block Agency, in Nashville, where she has been a featured extra for Luke Bryan’s Light it Up music video, Tim McGraw’s fitness book Grits & Grace, on the CMA red carpet with Brad Paisley, and has worked Keith Urban, Jason Aldean, Walker Hayes and many more.
