Biography
James Hambrick, a native of Nashville, Tennessee, resides in Mt. Juliet with his wife Denise. Hambrick graduated from Northwestern University's Police Staff and Command School. Hambrick has a B.A. in Christian Education as well as degrees in psychology and Christian counseling at the doctoral and master's levels. For more than 27 years, Hambrick has worked for the City of Mt. Juliet as both a police officer and a chaplain. He served on the guided missile destroyer USS Charles F. Adams during his time in the United States Navy as well.
Hambrick has taught Church Leadership & Ethics and Criminal Justice as an adjunct professor at Union University. He is the Author of "Holiness in an Unholy Society" (Godly living in dangerous times) and "Red, White, and True" (Living your faith at work in America). His most recent project is a music CD called "Somebody's Gotta Tell Them" on which he collaborated with other writers and performed. He also serves as the co-pastor of Mount Juliet's Cloyd's Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Hambrick takes much pride in his five children, fourteen grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Above all else, Hambrick is a servant of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.
