From a very young age, Bruce J. Daniels’ (aka BJ) life revolved around football. He became a star quarterback at the University of South Florida, and went on to play professionally in the NFL. His story sounds like a dream come true, and, in many ways, it was.

 

However, he also saw first-hand the lows that come with the highs of playing football on the world’s biggest stage. The mental health struggles BJ and his teammates faced – often in silence – have inspired a new passion and purpose in BJ.

 

He has recently written a book that he hopes will also inspire others when they read it.  In Beyond the Red Zone, BJ teaches readers the importance of resilience, mindset, dedication, adaptability, passion and perseverance – all of which can help them to rise above their circumstances. Most of all, this book is yet another milestone in Daniels’ mission to “Leave No One Behind”, showing that, beyond all our obstacles, there’s a life worth living.
