Biography
Darrius Oldham, is known as a trailblazer, being the first in his family to finish a four year college degree. Oldham studied Criminal Justice while attending the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and played on the men’s basketball team. He recently retired from a professional overseas basketball team, which gives him a unique perspective with rich life experiences that pepper his journey.
The Lebanon, Tennessee native is an Executive Creator of The Way, The Truth and Enlightenment Institute (WTE), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization based in Nashville, Tennessee. The mission of the organization is to empower and cultivate the interconnectedness amongst children, youth, and families. Over the years, Oldham has been involved in public speaking engagements at the Boys and Girls Club, Middle Tennessee Schools, and Metro Community Centers. He currently serves as a facilitator for the Craft Basketball Sports League at Metro Centers and heads the program "Who Am I" Youth Detention Program for WTE. He holds special skills in training athletes, mentoring young men and runs a commercial cleaning company in Middle Tennessee. Oldham is extremely passionate about empowering the youth, cultivating relationships, and being a productive, positive citizen within the community.
