Fitness gym trainer finds rewarding challenge working with special needs patrons
Working out can be a struggle for 12-year-old Jesse Sebring,, but a necessary part of life. The Tannersville resident has Down syndrome.

For many special needs kids, becoming physically fit can be a challenge. That’s why Jason Cronan, owner of Four Corners Health and Fitness on 68 S. Courtland St. in East Stroudsburg, began helping special needs children and adults achieve their fitness goals.

“We’ve been going to Jason for over a year now. I cyberschool Jesse so I’m always looking for socialization,” said Tina Sebring, Jesse’s mother. “This was all new for him when we started there. He’s on a good roll now and understands what he has to do. There was a lot of resistance when he started at first, and now he’s blossomed in the last year.”

In this episode we interview Jason Cronan, a certified personal trainer with masters in physiology and exercise. Jason has vast knowledge stemming from martial arts to cross training. Jason was able to share his tips on how to properly warm-up before a hardcore training session.
